250 women leaders, one unforgettable day. Here are the five insights that stayed with us long after the forum ended.

Last November, 250 women leaders gathered at Hotel Mulia Jakarta for our annual Women Leadership Forum. The conversations were rich, the energy was electric, and the lessons were lasting.

Here are five insights that have stayed with us:

1. Leadership is not a title — it's a practice.

Keynote speaker Dra. Kartini Soekarno opened the forum with a simple but powerful reframe: "Stop waiting to be given a leadership role. Start practicing leadership today, wherever you are."

2. Vulnerability is a strength, not a weakness.

In a panel discussion that had the room in tears, three senior executives shared their stories of failure, self-doubt, and recovery. The message was clear: authenticity builds trust, and trust is the foundation of great leadership.

3. Mentorship is a two-way street.

"Every time I mentor someone, I learn something new," said one panelist. The most effective mentorship relationships are reciprocal — both parties grow.

4. Systemic change requires collective action.

Individual success matters, but it's not enough. Several speakers emphasized the importance of advocating for policy changes, equitable hiring practices, and inclusive workplace cultures.

5. Rest is a revolutionary act.

Perhaps the most unexpected lesson came from a wellness session: in a culture that glorifies busyness, choosing to rest is an act of resistance and self-preservation.

We're already planning the 2026 forum. Stay tuned for announcements.
